Chapter 10.41A Special Police Officers
Section 10.41A.080 Termination
- A special police commission expires after one year.

- An expired commission may be renewed upon application.
- A special police commission terminates upon termination of the officer’s employment by the applicant.

- The applicant must immediately notify the chief of an officer’s termination of employment.
- The chief may suspend or revoke a commission at any time because of violation of the provisions of this code or for other cause.
- Upon expiration, termination, suspension or revocation of his commission the officer must immediately surrender to the applicant his identification and any badge, uniform and other property connected with his office.
