Chapter 10.47 Emergency Medical Transport
Section 10.47.030 Definitions
- “Ambulance” means a ground or air vehicle designed and used to transport the ill or injured and to provide personnel, facilities and equipment to treat patients before and during transportation.
- “Emergency transport” means an ambulance transport of a person on an emergency basis to an appropriate medical facility for immediate treatment.
- “Non-emergency transport” means planned transport of a person in a medically stable condition on a non-emergency basis.
