Article I. Felts Field
Section 12.03.0124 Takeoff, Flight Pattern and Landing – Traffic Pattern Charts
- All takeoffs and landings shall be made on the runway most nearly aligned with the tetrahedron located on the north side of the field.
- The tetrahedron on the north side of the airport is the only authorized air traffic direction indicator to be used.
- Traffic patterns affecting all runways are standard left-hand rectangular patterns and are flown within two miles of the airport.
- Aircraft may leave the traffic pattern by climbing straight out after takeoff until the aircraft has passed beyond the established traffic pattern.
- Simulated forced landings shall not be made over or on the airport.
- Landing aircraft shall taxi straight ahead to the nearest taxiway and shall clear the runway as soon as possible. One hundred eighty degree turns will not be permitted on the runway.
