Article V. Impoundment of Motor Vehicles

Section 12.03.0612 Impoundment of Vehicles – Towing Service

Whenever an airport security officer finds a vehicle stopped, parked, left standing, or unattended in violation of this joint ordinance, or any of the rules and regulations promulgated by the Spokane airport board where the board has declared the same to constitute an immediate hazard or potential hazard to the public safety, or where a vehicle is found unattended in such a position that it constitutes an obstruction of traffic, or so as to endanger any user or potential user of the public streets or ways open to the public on the Spokane International Airport, or jeopardize the public safety, then said officer is authorized to remove and tow away the vehicle, or to have the same removed and towed away by a commercial towing service authorized by the Spokane airport board and called on a rotating basis.
