Chapter 12.07 Vehicles

Section 12.07.030 Assignments to Employees

  1. City vehicles may be assigned to employees who, on a continuous basis, have primary supervisory responsibility (first called out) in case of emergency or whose immediate response is required to save life or property.
     
  2. Assignments may also be made to employees who, on a continuous basis, are on call in case of emergency or who require special tools or equipment carried in an assigned vehicle for the performance of emergency duties.
     
  3. In all cases, vehicles assigned must be reserved exclusively for municipal business.
