Chapter 13.03 Sewers

Article I. Definitions

Section 13.03.0183 “Sewer”
  1. “Sewer” is a pipe, conduit, structure or appurtenance for conveying sewage. These definitions further identify this term according to who owns or maintains the sewer:
    1. private sewer,
    1. private storm sewer,
    1. side sewer,
    1. special side sewer,

as opposed to public sewer.

  1. In general, public sewers are also subdivided according to what they convey:
    1. sanitary sewer,
    1. storm sewer, and
    1. combined sewer.
