Article XI. Rates

Section 13.03.180 Orders

 

  1. The Wastewater Director shall be authorized to issue an order prohibiting further discharge into the municipal sewerage system to any user who refuses to comply with the provisions of these regulations or where deemed necessary to protect the public health and safety.
    1. Users may appeal to the Wastewater Director for an adjustment in user charge, such an appeal must be made within thirty days of the billing under dispute.
  1. In the event that City-determined wastewater strengths and/or flows are challenged, an appeal must be accompanied by or be followed within thirty days by a report based upon samples and tests performed by an approved laboratory and/or engineer setting forth the flows and/or waste strengths in dispute.
    1. Decisions of the Wastewater Director on appeals may be further appealed to the Public Works Director, whose decision is final.
