Chapter 15.01 Commute Trip Reduction
Section 15.01.010 Purpose
The purpose of this chapter is to comply with the requirement of RCW 70.94.527 for an ordinance adopting a commute trip reduction plan and an implementing ordinance to improve air quality, improve transportation system efficiency, and reduce energy consumption through employer-based programs that encourage the reducing of vehicle miles traveled though the use of commute alternatives to the single-occupant vehicle.
