Chapter 15.02 Carbon Monoxide Nonattainment Area Implementation Plan
Section 15.02.010 In General
Whereas, pursuant to the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 1857, et seq.), the Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Highway Administration, the Urban Mass Transportation Administration, the State of Washington departments of ecology and transportation, the Spokane Transit Authority, Spokane County, and the City of Spokane are variously engaged in a number of cooperative air pollution control measures in the metropolitan area, those measures which have been adopted by ordinance are collected or referenced in this chapter to signify that they have been ordained through joint governmental action or because mandated by superior law. The amendment or repeal of the provisions in this chapter are not matters wholly within the legislative discretion of the city council.
