Section 17F.090.070 Unapproved Work
- Whenever the inspector finds materials used or work performed which does not conform to this code, the inspector rejects the work and orders the permittee, in person or by phone, and later in writing if requested, to make all corrections in materials and workmanship necessary to satisfy this code within fifteen days, or within such longer time as the inspector may grant for good cause, unless the permittee timely appeals to the hearing officer.
- Whenever the inspector finds any fuel gas piping, venting system, mechanical appliance or equipment:

- being used or maintained in a dangerous or unsafe condition; or

- being installed, altered or extended without a proper permit or by an unauthorized person;
the inspector notifies the building official. The building official gives written notice to the owners of the premises and the contractor to take corrective action in a specified time.
