Chapter 18.03 Nondiscrimination in Housing Practices

Section 18.03.025 Rental Housing Business Practices Unaffected

  1. Nothing in this Title 18 prohibits the use of reasonable, non-discriminatory factors in housing decisions, including, without limitation, criminal background or rental history.

  2. Nothing in this chapter mandates that leases shall be of any particular duration.

  3. Nothing in this chapter prohibits the use of income screening for rental applicants, provided that all sources of income defined in this Title 18 are included.
