Section 18.07.010 Bias-Free Policing

  1. The City of Spokane is committed to providing services and enforcing laws in a professional, nondiscriminatory, fair and equitable manner.

  2. The Spokane Police Department, its officers, employees, and all officers commissioned under the Spokane Police Department are prohibited from engaging in profiling as the term is defined in this SMC 18.01.030(U).

  3. The Spokane Police Department shall maintain policies consistent with this section.
