Article III. General Requirements
Section 13.03.0322 Use of Storm Sewers, Combined Sewers, Natural Outlets
Except as herein provided no person may discharge or cause to be discharged any wastewater, except stormwater, into a storm sewer. Additionally, notwithstanding the foregoing, non-contact cooling water or other wastewater (some unpolluted industrial process wastewaters) may be discharged upon approval of the City Engineer or Wastewater Director and the Washington State Department of Ecology to a storm sewer, combined sewer or natural outlet. Any such discharges may not cross over a public walk or way.
