Section 13.03.0624 Inspection Procedures – Completed Work
- Notice must be given to the Wastewater Superintendent requesting inspection of all sewer work as provided herein and as provided in the “Regulations Governing Sewer Construction in the City of Spokane.”

- The Wastewater Superintendent, or designee, thereafter inspects the same. The connection must be made in the manner prescribed in this code or by regulations, and to the satisfaction of the Wastewater Superintendent, before the trench is filled.

- Costs of excavation in the event of noncompliance are borne entirely by the owner and/or the owner’s agent contractor.
- Sewers subject to inspection must be inspected and found satisfactory before covering pipe.

- The contractor must have a ladder on the job or a sloping ditch so that the inspector can readily enter the ditch.

- If the inspector deems a ditch unsafe, he/she need not enter it or complete the inspection.

- Reinspection occasioned by faulty or improper work or failure to comply with these provisions may be charged to the contractor or owner.
All requirements of the State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries apply to persons working under this code.
