Section 13.03.0912 Equipment – Projects – Minor Expenditures
- To the maximum extent permitted by state law, the City may acquire such equipment, engage in projects, enter into contracts and perform such functions as may enable it to carry out wastewater collection and treatment responsibilities and such other purposes as the City Council may direct. These powers are broadly construed to accomplish their intended purpose.
- The City Council approves departmental expenditures of funds for equipment and projects, which may be funded by the respective department fund, by grant or by appropriation from federal, state or local resources as the City Council may authorize.
- Any expenditure of less than fifty thousand dollars may be made without City Council approval, except all such expenditures shall be from the wastewater management fund.
