Section 17F.040.170 Fire Official
- The fire official, as defined in SMC 17F.080.040, reviews and approves plans and specifications submitted for a building permit.
- In addition to any building permit, the fire official reviews plans, issues permits and inspects for the installation of fire protection and fire detection equipment.
- The fire official has permit and inspection responsibility for a number of uses and occupancies of buildings as provided in IFC Section 105.
