Chapter 07.09 Intrafund Budget Transfers

Section 07.09.015 Personnel/Position Transfers
  1. Transfer of all classified employees shall be accomplished pursuant to the City’s Civil Service Merit System Rules.
  1. Inter-departmental transfers of positions and interfund transfers, as described in this section, outside of the annual budget process as described in Section 25 of the City Charter, SMC Chapter 07.14, and chapter 35.34, RCW, shall not occur unless the City Council approves a special budget ordinance to accomplish the transfer.
