Chapter 07.09 Intrafund Budget Transfers

Section 07.09.020 Report Required
  1. The Mayor shall prepare and submit to the City Council within fifteen (15) days following the calendar month a report of all intrafund budget transfers requested during the previous calendar month. It shall not be necessary for the City Council to approve the report. The report shall include but not be limited to the following:
    1. Intrafund transfers between departments; and
    1. Intrafund transfers covered by SMC 7.09.010(A)(1)(a) and (1)(b); and
    1. Intrafund transfers between categories of personal services, maintenance and operation, capital outlay and debt service.
  1. Intrafund transfers within budgets of single departments which do not involve transfers between the object groups of personal services, maintenance and operation, capital outlay, and debt service need not be included in the monthly reports to City Council.
  1. For purposes of determining those transfers to be reported, the classification of accounts as established by the Washington State Auditor shall be followed.
