Section 08.02.0204 Building Contractors and Workers
- Blasting.

- The fee for a blaster’s license is twenty-five dollars per year.

- The fee for a blasting permit is one hundred dollars for each job.

- The fee for a transportation permit required by SMC 10.29.010(D) is sixty-five dollars per year.
- Boilers and Pressure Vessels.

- The examination fee is twenty-four dollars.

- The annual license fees are:

- Fireman: Twenty-four dollars;
-

- Third class engineer: Thirty dollars;

- Second class engineer: Thirty-six dollars;
-

- First class engineer: Forty-eight dollars;

- Boiler inspector: No charge.
- Mechanics.

- The examination fee for all mechanic licenses is twenty-four dollars.

- The annual license fees are:

- Gas heating mechanic I: Thirty-six dollars;

- Gas heating mechanic II: Forty-eight dollars;
-

- Apprentice heating mechanic: Twenty-four dollars;
-

- Oil burner installer or servicer: Thirty-six dollars;

- Oil inspector, gas inspector I or gas inspector II: No charge.
- Expiration of Licenses and Renewal.
Any license, the license fee for which has not been paid before its expiration date, is void.

- A void license may be renewed at any time up to one year past the expiration date.

- After being void for one year, the license may not be renewed: The test for the license must be taken and passed and a new license obtained.
