Article III. Collection
Section 13.02.0350 Premises Site Plan Approval for Solid Waste Collection Area Required

Customers are responsible to obtain the advance plan approval of the director of solid waste collection of all proposed waste storage areas, collection points and customer equipment to be used.

This requirement shall apply whenever new construction or remodeling occurs or whenever customer’s waste disposal needs change.

Customers involved in the City building permit or plan review process remain responsible to obtain the director of solid waste collection’s affirmative approval in addition to other municipal approval requirements. At all times, it remains the customer’s sole responsibility to obtain such approval, which should not be presumed.

Note that for customer convenience, other parts of a building project may be approved, but solid waste approval of a site plan as required herein may not be inferred thereby.
