Article II. General Requirements
Section 13.03A.0212 Hauled Wastewater [2.12]
- Hauled wastewater, including septic tank waste or industrial wastewater, may not be introduced into the POTW except at locations and with such conditions as directed by the Plant Manager. Such wastes shall not violate this Section of this chapter or any other requirements established or adopted by the City. Wastewater Discharge Permits for individual vehicles to use such facilities shall be issued by the Plant Manager.
- All such wastewater is required to be tested and sampled as ordered by the Plant Manager, consistent with the purpose and objectives of this chapter and applicable federal, state, or local requirements.
- The Plant Manager may decline to accept any hauled wastewater or may require wastewater haulers or generators as designated by the Plant Manager to apply for discharge permit coverage.
- Wastewater haulers must provide a Discharge Record as required and approved by the Plant Manager for every load.
- Non-domestic Wastewater Manifests under this section must be filed with the Plant Manager, with such information as required by the Plant Manager, and signed by an authorized representative and certified as provided in SMC 13.03A.0305(A). Failure to submit a report form as required or apply for permit coverage when required is a violation of this chapter. (Cross reference: SMC 13.03A.0201(B)(9))
- Fees for dumping hauled wastes will be established as part of the user fee system as authorized in SMC 13.03 and SMC 13.03A.1401.
