Chapter 13.04 Water

Article I. General Provisions

Section 13.04.0806 Service Pipes – Cocks

 

  1. Cost of all service pipes from the City mains to the premises, including a service cock, shall be paid by the property owner(s). A private contractor shall excavate the entire trench from the main to the premises and install the service line from the property line to the premises, subject to inspection and approval of the Water and Hydroelectric Services Department. The Water and Hydroelectric Services Department shall install the portion of the service line from the City main to the property line.
  1. Locations that have an obstruction within City right-of-way, the service pipes shall be laid by the City and the curb stop shall be placed within five feet of the street side of the obstruction. The property owner(s) must install and maintain, at their own expense, all service pipes from that point to the premises, subject to inspection and approval of the Water and Hydroelectric Services Department.
