Chapter 16A.61 Rules of the Road
The driver of a bus or taxicab shall not stand or park upon any public street or highway in the congested district at any place other than at a bus stop or taxicab stand, respectively, except that this provision shall not prevent the driver of any vehicle from temporarily stopping in accordance with other stopping or parking regulations at any place for the purpose of, and while actually engaged in, loading or unloading passengers.
No person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle when any such stop or stand has been officially designated and appropriately signed by the parking services manager. Vehicles found to be in violation will be subject to citation and fine pursuant to Section 08.02.083E.

other than a taxi cab in a taxicab stand
The driver of a taxicab may park in a metered parking space if the meter is paid and then for a period not to exceed the designated time allotment on the meter.
