Section 17C.111.555 Prominent Entrances
  1. Purpose.

To ensure that building entrances are easily identifiable and clearly visible from streets and sidewalks.

  1. Design Standards.
    1. The principal entry to a store/building shall be marked by: (P)
      1. ornamentation around the door; and
      1. at least one of the following:
        1. Recessed entrance (recessed at least three feet).
        1. Protruding entrance (protruding at least three feet) .
        1. Canopy (extending at least five feet).
        1. Portico (extending at least five feet).
        1. Overhang (extending at least five feet).
