Section 17D.100.070 Procedure - Council or Board Action

  1. Once a preliminary designation is made, the owner and the HPO shall negotiate a management standards agreement for the property. Upon agreement, the management agreement is forwarded to the council or board, as appropriate for consideration.

  2. The council or the board, as appropriate, must act on the recommendation of the commission within thirty (30) days of receiving a copy of the agreed management standards. A final designation decision may be deferred for consideration at another public hearing. Once a final decision is made, the city clerk, board clerk, or their designee, notifies the commission, property owner(s) and affected City and County agencies.
