Article III. Underground Storage Tanks

Section 17E.010.190 Purpose and Application

  1. This article addresses specific municipal regulatory requirements applicable to underground storage tanks, the underground portion of in-ground tanks and associated piping and installations. It is supplemental to SMC 17F.080 (Fire Code) and any other requirements of this chapter or applicable local, state or federal requirements.

  2. These provisions are intended to apply to all underground storage tanks and the underground portion of in-ground storage tanks.

  3. This article supplements the fire code of the City of Spokane SMC 17F.080.
