Chapter 17G.061 Land Use Application Procedures
Section 17G.061.130 Application Time Limits
- A decision on permit applications subject to this chapter shall be made within one hundred twenty days of submission of a complete application as set forth in SMC 17G.061.130.
- The following shall be excluded when calculating this time period:
- Any period during which the applicant has been requested by the department to correct plans, perform required studies, or provide additional required information due to the applicant’s inaccurate or insufficient information.
- Any period during which an environmental impact statement is being prepared.
- Any period for administrative appeals of land use permits.
- Any extension for any reasonable period mutually agreed upon in writing between the applicant and the department (RCW 36.70B.080(1)).
- If the permit requires approval of a new fully contained community as provided in RCW 36.70A.350, or a master planned resort as provided in RCW 36.70A.360, or the siting of an essential public facility as provided in RCW 36.70A.200.
