Jan. 29 at 8 a.m. - Police responded to a report of a shooting just before 5 a.m. Upon arrival they found a man dead in the basement, with obvious signs of trauma.
Jan. 28 at 8 a.m. - Police arrested a Burglary suspect inside a north side car wash. Suspect had been arrested for the same crime at the same location almost 9 years ago.
Jan. 25 at 3:30 p.m. - Police charged stabbing suspect, Joel Arevalo, with another north side stabbing which occurred on 01-22-13 in area of 100 E Euclid.
Jan. 25 at 8 a.m. - Detectives of SPD/SIU served a search warrant for Distribution of Methamphetamine at 10150 N Seminole and arrested seven suspects on various charges.
Jan. 25 at 8 a.m. - Police arrested 21-year-old Joel M. Arevalo for stabbing his 56-year-old step grandfather.
Jan. 24 at 8 a.m. - Officers arrested 31-year-old Randy A. Norberg for 2 counts of attempted vehicle theft.
Jan. 24 at 7 a.m. - Downtown Neighborhood Conditions Officers to increase their enforcement of "taxi zone" parking violations, in an effort to improve downtown safety.
Jan. 23 at 8 a.m. - Police responded to a pharmacy robbery at the Rosauer's on 29th Ave yesterday. Detectives are seeking the community's help in identifying the suspect.
Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. - Police took a stolen vehicle report this morning at 7:35 a.m., suspect (Robert D. Basford) was arrested by 8:15 a.m. at Nevada and Wellesley.
Jan. 22 at 9 a.m. - Detectives have charged Larry Griffin with three additional robbery charges. Griffin was arrested last week after robbing Bates Pharmacy.
Jan. 22 at 8 a.m. - Detectives seek the community's assistance in identifying a serial forgery suspect. The suspect is described as a white, blonde female, in her 20's.
Jan. 21 at 8 a.m. - Police responded to three different shooting calls. There were no victims and no arrests were made.
Jan. 20 at 8 a.m. - Police responded to call of a person with a weapon at 3900 E Longfellow. Officers contained the house which the suspect, Timothy Raya, was in.
Jan. 18 at 9 a.m. - Murder suspect, Tony T. Callihan, suspected of killing Michelle Koenen, has been transported back to the Spokane County Jail from the Seattle area.
Jan. 18 at 8 a.m. - This year's Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade, happening January 21, 2013 at 10 a.m. in downtown Spokane will feature enhanced SPD officer presence.
Jan. 17 at 9:30 a.m. - Drug investigation lead to the SWAT Team raid of a north Spokane "neighborhood problem house" and three arrests on drug related charges.
Jan. 17 at 8 a.m. - The two men critically wounded in a gang-related shooting on January 12 have been arrested for 1st Degree Burglary.
Jan. 17 at 7 a.m. - On 01-16-13 around 6:21 p.m. Spokane Police responded to a robbery call at Bates Pharmacy at 3704 N Nevada.
Jan. 16 at 8 a.m. - Detectives have determined that a naked man who rang a door bell in south Spokane was a prank and an isolated incident.
Jan. 15 at 8 a.m. - Police arrested Natalie Houle last night for driving a car with a suspended license. Houle had robbed a woman in a parking garage earlier in the day.
Jan. 14 at 8 a.m. - Police arrested Scott B. Lindell after he attempted to rob the Taco Bell at Boone/Monroe and then successfully robbed the 7/11 at Maxwell and Maple.
Jan. 14 at 7 a.m. - Police tracked footprints in the snow to a home near 4400 E. Sprague, and arrested Kevin Bockelmann for 2nd Degree Burglary and 1st Degree Theft.
Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. - Major Crimes Detectives have arrested Phillip C. Ruiz for 2 counts of 1st degree assault and Daniel J Dublin for 2 counts of 1st degree assault.
Jan. 12 at 8 a.m. - Police continue to dedicate resources to a shooting that occurred overnight in North Spokane.
Jan. 11 at 11 a.m. - SPD Special Investigative Unit served search warrants at 2804 ECentral and 3018 E Sanson.
Jan. 10 at 8 a.m. - Police responded to a robbery at the N. Wall Pizza Rita location where two suspects pointed a gun at the clerk, stole money and fled on foot.
Jan. 9 at 8 a.m. - Police arrested Trevor L. Franklin for Residential Burglary in Browne's Addition after neighbors witnessed him committing another naked burglary.
Jan. 5 at 5 p.m. - Airport Police and SPD Officers responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of outbound West Airport Drive and South Spotted Road.
Jan. 5 at 10 a.m. - Police PACT members arrested 19-year-old Nash Teal for 1st Degree Assault and Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle.
Jan. 4 at 8 a.m. - With the community's help Police were able to contact two men believed to be in attendance at a drive-by shooting that left one woman injured.
Jan. 3 at 8 a.m. - Police have identified two men who were at a party on New Year's Eve where shots were fired and both are wanted by police for questioning.
Jan. 3 at 7 a.m. - Detectives pinpointed a downtown address where wanted murder suspect Louis L. Hanson was believed to be hiding out.
Jan. 2 at Noon - Police Chief Frank Straub reassured the public today that Police will work tirelessly to prevent future incidents.
Jan. 2 at 10 a.m. - Police have arrested 31 year old Greggory L. Pruett for 1st Degree Robbery, 1st Degree Kidnapping and 1st Degree Assault.
Jan. 2 at 8 a.m. - Police have identified a new suspect in the December 30 shooting of Aaron Cummings. Detectives have determined Louis L. Hanson as the suspect.
Jan. 1 at 8 a.m. - Police were already investigating a deadly shooting in Northeast Spokane when another shooting erupted at a party in the Northwest side of town.
Jan. 1 at 7 a.m. - On 12/31/12 at about 10:09 p.m. a citizen called 911 reporting that people had been shot at the Neighborhood Grocery store at 3400 E. Euclid.
