Section 07.06.220 Specifications – Maximum Practicable Competition

  1. All specifications are to be drafted to promote overall economy for the intended purposes and encourage competition while satisfying the City’s needs, and not be unduly restrictive.

  2. In following the obligations of this section, the Contracts and Purchasing Director may consider lease, lease-purchase or purchase methods of procurement.
