9:28 a.m. - A male was taken into custody for assaulting one of the officers.
2:31 p.m. - Male suspect was safely taken into custody.
3:08 p.m. - 911 callers reported an altercation followed by gunshots in the area of 1900 E. Wellesley Avenue.
11 a.m. - SPD's Special Victims Unit developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for Rape of a Child and Child Molestation.
10:09 a.m. - A stolen MacBook leads Spokane Police to discover multiple stolen items and a burglary arrest.
12:14 p.m. - This incident is still under investigation at this time. The suspect's vehicle was seized pending a search warrant and further charges may be pending.
5:04 p.m. - Spokane Police releases the names of the officers involved in the incident that took place on February 25th, 2026.
10:02 a.m. - Both fires are determined accidental, and the occupants were not home.
9:29 a.m. - The following information is preliminary; more information will be released later by the Spokane Independent Investigation Response (SIIR) Team.
3:40 p.m. - This investigation is still ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
