SPD arrests kidnapping suspect

6:06 p.m. - Spokane Police arrest 55-year-old Richard L. Welch for 1st Degree Kidnapping in connection to the kidnapping of a 3-year-old child.

4 p.m.

SPD releases names of officers involved in 03-26 shooting

4:38 p.m. - The five officers involved in the shooting have nearly 60 years of combined experience with the Spokane Police Department.

3 p.m.

Police ask for public's assistance locating missing at-risk man

3:24 p.m. - 60-year-old Alfred Woodruff was last seen yesterday afternoon at his residence in the 200 block of W. Riverside.

Garland structure fire

8:44 a.m. - The Spokane Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 2710 W. Garland on April 3, 2014, at approximately 2:25 a.m.
