Based on the traditional Japanese art form of Gyotaku, this class will give students the opportunity to create their own fish prints without the mess of real fish. Students will have a variety of fish patterns and sizes to choose from.
Lindsey Merrell is a printmaker and arts educator from Spokane, Washington. She has taught numerous classes and workshops on various methods of printmaking, as well as general art and design concepts, throughout central and eastern Washington. Currently a stay-at-home mama, she is pursuing her fine art making during naptime, or with the help of a two-year-old. Lindsey’s work has been exhibited throughout Washington state, and can be found in public and private collections nationwide.
