Emergency Budget Ordinance C35111 - amending Ordinance No. C35062 passed the City Council November 25, 2013, and entitled, "An Ordinance adopting the Annual Budget of the City of Spokane for 2014, making appropriations to the various funds, departments and programs of the City of Spokane government for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2014, and providing it shall take effect immediately upon passage," and declaring an emergency and appropriating funds in: CHHS Grants Fund FROM: Department of Commerce, $2,581,215; TO: Contractual Services, same amount. (This action budgets additional grant funds for administration of the HEN program.) (Relates to OPR 2014-0490 under the Consent Agenda)

(This action budgets funds to be used for upgrading the SkyRide cabins; installing bars at the opposite ends of the cabins, allowing air flow.)

(This action is necessary to make changes in the appropriations of the Park and Recreation Fund, which changes could not have been anticipated or known in the 2014 budget process.)

Ordinance C35115 - Approving and confirming the assessments and assessment roll of Local Improvement District #2011165 for 25th Avenue from Freya Street to one-half Block East of Rebecca Street, and levying and assessing the amounts thereof, according to benefits, against the several lots, tracts and parcels of land and other property as shown on said roll; providing for the collection of said assessments and the issuance of local improvement installment notes or bonds to pay the cost and expense of said improvement; fixing the date of issue of said installment notes or bonds; and providing for delinquency penalties.
