Resolution 2018-0038 - Approving the appointment of Michelle Hughes as Director of Accounting for the City of Spokane.

Special Budget Ordinance C35621 - Amending Ordinance No. C35565 passed by the City Council December 11, 2017, and entitled, "An Ordinance adopting the Annual Budget of the City of Spokane for 2018, making appropriations to the various funds, departments and programs of the City of Spokane government for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2018, and providing it shall take effect immediately upon passage, and declaring an emergency and appropriating funds in: Development Services Center Fund FROM: Undesignated Fund Balance, $366,276; TO: Contractual Services, same amount. (This action allows budgeting for unanticipated demolition costs.) (Relates to OPR 2018-0318 under the Consent Agenda.)

Special Budget Ordinance C35624 - Amending Ordinance No. C35565 passed by the City Council December 11, 2017, and entitled, "An Ordinance adopting the Annual Budget of the City of Spokane for 2018, making appropriations to the various funds, departments and programs of the City of Spokane government for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2018, and providing it shall take effect immediately upon passage, and declaring an emergency and appropriating funds in: Public Works & Utilities Fund FROM: Clerk II, $242,728; TO: Unappropriated Reserves, same amount. and Sewer Fund FROM: Unappropriated Reserves, $242,728; TO: Reserve for Budget Adjustment, same amount. (This action eliminates the total 2018 salaries and benefits of four vacant Clerk II positions and increases the budget in Environmental Programs by this same amount for implementation of the Sustainability Action Plan.)

Special Budget Ordinance C35625 - Amending Ordinance No. C35565 passed by the City Council December 11, 2017, and entitled, "An Ordinance adopting the Annual Budget of the City of Spokane for 2018, making appropriations to the various funds, departments and programs of the City of Spokane government for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2018, and providing it shall take effect immediately upon passage, and declaring an emergency and appropriating funds in: Solid Waste Fund FROM: Refuse Collector I, $306,700; TO: Unappropriated Reserves, same amount. and Sewer Fund FROM: Unappropriated Reserves, $306,700; TO: Reserve for Budget Adjustment, same amount. (This action eliminates the total 2018 salaries and benefits of five vacant Refuse Collector I positions and increases the budget in Environmental Programs by this same amount for implementation of the Sustainability Action Plan.)
