Special Budget Ordinance C36325 - Amending Ordinance No. C36161 passed by the City Council December 13, 2021, and entitled, "An Ordinance adopting the Annual Budget of the City of Spokane for 2022, making appropriations to the various funds of the City of Spokane government for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022, and providing it shall take effect immediately upon passage," and declaring an emergency and appropriating funds in: Fire/EMS Fund 1) Increase revenue by $350,000 A) Of the increased revenue, $350,000 is provided solely for wildfire mobilization reimbursement from the Department of Natural Resources. 2) Increase appropriation by $350,000 A) Of the increased appropriation, $350,000 is provided solely for overtime and travel costs of firefighters deployed to wildfire events. (This action arises from unbudgeted costs related to responding to regional wildfire mobilizations).

Special Budget Ordinance C36326 - Amending Ordinance No. C36161 passed by the City Council December 13, 2021, and entitled, "An Ordinance adopting the Annual Budget of the City of Spokane for 2022, making appropriations to the various funds of the City of Spokane government for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022, and providing it shall take effect immediately upon passage," and declaring an emergency and appropriating funds in: Utility Billing Fund 1) Increase revenue by $1,880,474. A) Of the increased revenue, $1,880,474 is from the Washington State Department of Commerce as funding for Utility Residential Customer Arrearages grant program. 2) Increase appropriation by $1,880,474. A) Of the increased appropriation, $1,880,474 will be used to credit utility bill customer accounts who meet Commerce’s qualifications. (This action arises from the need to accept newly awarded Department of Commerce grant funds).

Special Budget Ordinance C36327 - Amending Ordinance No. C36161 passed by the City Council December 13, 2021, and entitled, "An Ordinance adopting the Annual Budget of the City of Spokane for 2022, making appropriations to the various funds of the City of Spokane government for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022, and providing it shall take effect immediately upon passage," and declaring an emergency and appropriating funds in: American Rescue Plan Fund 1) Increase appropriation by $125,000, funded from the city’s direct allocation of the State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund of the American Rescue Plan Act. A) Of the increased appropriation, $125,000 is provided for the purpose of funding for capital expenditures for a City-owned firehouse safety center. (This action arises from the need to provide appropriation authority for funding onetime costs to improve fire safety).
