The City and other regional partners will conduct a wildfire evacuation drill in the Latah-Hangman and Eagle Ridge areas on Saturday April 25th in the morning, to give residents the opportunity to practice wildfire evacuations.
Residents in the drill area may receive drill-specific emergency alerts and are encouraged to practice evacuating as they would during a real wildfire. People may notice increased traffic as neighbors participate, and traffic should subside shortly after the drill.
This exercise helps improve evacuation planning and gives residents a chance to practice their plans and to sign up for emergency alerts. More details will be shared through neighborhood channels.
