H.O.M.E. Starts Here Fund

HOME Starts Here Wildfire Fund

The H.O.M.E Starts Here Fund, which is typically used to support services for people experiencing homelessness, is being activated to accept donations for community members impacted by the Spokane Complex Fires.

This fund will stay 100% local with all funds and resources deployed directly to the Spokane community. The City is NOT taking any administrative fees. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Short- and long-term rent assistance
  • Document recovery fees
  • Furniture and basic household items such as cookware and linens
  • Transportation
  • Necessary personal medical equipment
  • Diapers
  • Formula
  • Children's clothing
  • Back to school supplies

Those interested in contributing can do so by calling Spokane 311, donating online, adding a donation through their utility bill, or mailing in a check to the Spokane 311 Office at 808 W Spokane Falls Blvd, Spokane, WA 99201. The city is not taking any administrative fees. Make checks payable to the City of Spokane, and please be sure to include that your donation is for the H.O.M.E. Starts Here Fund when mailing in a donation. Every contribution, no matter the size, can help make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
