Please join us in congratulating Fire Chief Julie O’Berg, a recipient of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho 2025 Women of Distinction Award! This prestigious honor recognizes women who make unique and impactful contributions within the scout's regional council – serving 3,500 young women across 29 counties and 65,000 square miles.
Chief O’Berg received this distinguished award last Saturday, International Women’s Day, at The Davenport Grand during the Sweets Before Supper fundraising gala hosted by the Girl Scouts. This inspiring event celebrates women leaders in our community through the annual Women of Distinction Award, reinforcing the Girl Scouts' mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character.
We are incredibly proud of Chief O’Berg and our other local leaders, who were also recognized for empowering the next generation of women leaders!
