Garbage, curbside recycling, and yard waste pickup will be a day late starting Thursday, with Friday's pickup occurring on Saturday due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The Spokane City Council today issued the following statement on the passing of James "Brad" Crelia:

"We are sad to learn that James 'Brad' Crelia, a former City Council intern, passed away Wednesday night. He was an incredibly energetic member of our team and will be missed dearly."
