Spokane Mayor David Condon issued the following statement about late Superior Court Judge Sam Cozza, whose life and legacy will be celebrated today:
“Our hearts and thoughts are with Judge Sam Cozza’s family and loved ones. Judge Cozza was very diplomatic in his approach to challenges and sought common ground as he worked toward creative solutions. He was always extremely professional and respectful in his interactions with people whether from the bench, across a meeting room table or during a one-on-one conversation. Spokane lost a dedicated public servant, sharp legal mind and good man.”
