In the mist of the first signs of winter weather last week, neighborhood representatives, City Council members, business leaders, technical staff and other community members toured the City together to discuss transportation issues.
The purpose of the tours was to see and hear from stakeholders about the key transportation challenges and opportunities facing the City. These discussions are part of the first phase of updating the Transportation Chapter of the City’s Comprehensive Plan. The update will review multimodal (pedestrian, bike, transit, freight) transportation best practices, infrastructure needs above and below ground within the right-of-ways, the City’s land use plan and economic development goals.
