The Spokane Police Guild released a letter today weighing in on the conversation about bringing greater transparency the Spokane Police Department. In the letter addressed to Chief Frank Straub, Spokane Police Guild President John Gately expressed appreciation for the opportunity for the Guild to weigh in.
A conversation has been ongoing about civilian oversight of the police department. The letter from the Guild is a continuation of that discussion.
