City puts call out to help revitalize East Spokane, Hillyard

The City is looking for partners to help establish Business Improvement Districts to revitalize Hillyard and East Spokane. The Planning & Development Services Department has put out a Request for Proposals (RFP) for firms interested in participating.

The effort is connected to the resolution the City Council passed this month in support of the development of the parking and business improvement areas for both districts.

The firm selected will work with the Greater Hillyard Business Association (GHBA) and the East Spokane Business Association (ESBA) to establish Business Improvement Districts and to assist those organizations with additional revitalization activities. The firm will help GHBA and ESBA identify district boundaries, assessments and projects to be implemented.

The closing date for proposals is Monday, March 9, 2015
