On Friday, I will deliver my annual State of the City address. It is one of the times we set aside annually to talk with the public about how we're doing, whether their priorities have changed and what we plan to deliver in the coming year.
We have accomplished a lot as a City over past year, and are excited about what is still to be delivered. We have reduced crime, refined how we respond to non-emergency medical calls, thought holistically about stormwater management and leveraged our dollars to achieve more and greater outcomes for citizen investments.
This year, our priorities include public safety, streets, jobs and economic growth, and continuing our integrated Clean Water Plan work that gets us to a cleaner river faster.
The State of the City address is delivered at the Greater Spokane Incorporated monthly breakfast.
The address will also be broadcast live on City Cable 5 and online at SpokaneCity.org beginning at 8 a.m. There's no need to worry, though, if you can't catch the State of the City event live. It will be rebroadcast numerous times on City Cable 5 and available for watching on-demand at SpokaneCity.org.
