More ways to get involved in planning for Lincoln Heights’ future

Planning moves forward for the busy Lincoln Heights District. In November, there are more ways to get involved in shaping the area for decades to come.

A “Storefront Studio” event is happening Nov. 4 and 5. It will feature two days of intensive studio work and a community workshop in the evening of Nov. 5. The studio will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days at Southside Christian Church (2934 E. 27th Ave.). You can drop in at any time to catch up on project progress, offer ideas, and speak with consultants and city planners about future possibilities for the district. In the evening of Nov. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m., (also at Southside Church), a consulting team will present different approaches for Lincoln Heights which people will be able to review, evaluate, and comment on.
