My favorite summer activity is reading a book in the sunshine! With libraries closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I was looking for new ways to get my hands on a great book.
The Spokane Public Library answered my call when they announced curbside pickup! The process is simple. First, place items on hold using the library’s online catalog at spokanelibrary.org. If you do not have a library card, you can sign up online!
Once your books are available, you will receive an email from the library that your items are on hold. Next, visit the curbside pickup appointment page to select a date and time to pick up your items at the location where your holds are waiting.
Before leaving for pickup, check your email to see what slot to park in. Once you get to the library, a staff member will place your items next to your vehicle or into your passenger seat!
If you have any questions, read the Curbside Pickup FAQ.
I am currently reading The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. What will you be reading this summer?
