The goal of City of Spokane’s Traffic Calming program is to make our city neighborhoods more livable and safe for all users. The program began in 2010 with funding from the Photo Red Light and School Speed radar tickets and all ticket monies go directly into the Traffic Calming Program.
This year the City is rolling out a new program structure to meet the changing and growing needs of the community. City Council Manager of Neighborhood Connectivity Initiatives in collaboration with Office of Neighborhood Services will be hosting a series of community workshops to hear from neighborhood residents this summer and fall.
If you are interested in sharing your concerns and being part of the solution then please join us for the workshop in your neighborhood! Visit the Traffic Calming website to learn more about the work that has already been done and how to get involved in the upcoming workshops.
