New North Bank Parking Kiosks Give Customers More Payment Options

The City of Spokane is replacing old meters at individual on-street parking spaces with kiosks. The kiosks are strategically located in the North Bank on all blocks that require payment.

These new kiosks are solar powered, take up less space, and have more payment options for customers. The City’s goal in moving to the new kiosks is to make parking EASY, ACCESSIBLE, and CONVENIENT!

The kiosks were installed in early 2025 and the City is bringing them online this month. You can expect to see signage on meter poles indicating the parking payment zone.

Important Information
  • You can pay at a device that takes payment or use ParkMobile, the City’s mobile payment provider.
  • You will need to know your license plate number and enter it correctly once meters are removed. Enter the full license plate number as it reads on your vehicle registration. Be sure to distinguish 0 (zero) from the letter O.
  • Use the correct zone number for the area where you are parked. Pay attention to the zone number on the signs where you are parked because off-street parking lots also use zone numbers. City zones start with an 8.
  • Parking enforcement can see payment automatically on their enforcement equipment. We scan license plates, which provide payment information for the zone.
  • If kiosks are not working, another form of payment is required. ParkMobile is an option. The City appreciates customers reporting the paid parking device issue to Spokane 311 by calling 311, or 509.755.2489 (CITY) if outside city limits.
