It’s spring and we are on location at Rochester Heights Park to discuss future improvements through Spokane Parks. We are launching two programs in March designed to keep our neighborhoods clean and safe.
Launched on March 2, the Disposal Passes are valid for up to a $30 tipping fee at the Waste to Energy facility, are available starting March 2 to City of Spokane residents. You can request one in person on the first floor of City Hall or online on the Spokane City Disposal Pass website.
The City’s Residential Light program also launched March 2! City of Spokane homeowners can receive a FREE motion detecting, solar light to illuminate the darkened areas around your home for safety. Interested homeowners can log into their Spokane 311 account to request a light and come down to City Hall to pick it up. Visit the Residential Light Program website.
Another reminder about the 311 calming feedback form where residents can drop a pin on a map and tell us about traffic concerns in their neighborhood. Submissions, considered for the next cycle of funding, are being taken until March 31. Visit the Spokane Safe Streets for All Survey website.
