There is a $85 fee for each official Zoning Verification Letter for properties located within the city limits of the City of Spokane. Once staff has received your request for a zoning verification letter, you will be sent an electronic link to make a card payment. If you want to send a check, please send a check made payable to City of Spokane, note the application number on the check and mail to:

Please complete the online form to request a Zoning Verification Letter. It may take up 3-5 business days for a Zoning Verification Letter to be processed. If you have not received your letter after the 5th day, call 509.625.6188 to check the status.
Please Note: Our letters are specifically for zoning. Due to possible infringement of copyright, we are unable to provide site plans. If you require building or fire code violations, please submit a public records request.
